Automated Content Delivery Control
Site Assure can modify the behavior of the Cotendo Content Delivery service based on the state of monitored services. If the origin service becomes unavailable, content in cache can be delivered to an end user from the closest origin (geo-proximity) to ensure maximum uptime and business continuity. Alternatively, the Cotendo service can use an alternative origin for content, as well as an alternative origin that is configured as a site status page, to let users explicitly know that the site is temporarily unavailable rather than having them guess at why they do not get a response.

Variable DNS Routing Policies
Site Assure is fully customizable and allows implementation of content routing policies based on a monitored condition or state of a content providers’ origin web. In the event of a server failure Site Assure allows Cotendo ADNS to automatically shift between normal and alternate source targets for Cotendo Dynamic Site Acceleration (DSA) and Cotendo Content Delivery services.

Real-Time Reports and Alerts
Comprehensive reports enable content providers to maintain key system performance. Reports are always in real time to provide insights into what is happening at any given moment. In addition, historical information is available to trend availability and performance of all services over time.

Alerts allow messages to be sent on state change of any directly monitored service, as well as of actions taken based on pre-defined policies.
