Cotendo is a high performance and cost-efficient CDN deployed with fully redundant network coverage via top tier connections in regional locations for global delivery. The network and architecture is designed to substantially increase the performance vs. common in-house or outsourced hosted solutions.
If you are using a CDN today, our network is designed to support the performance levels you expect. Cotendo today is deployed with complete coverage for the United States and Europe. This is comprised of over ten CDN points of presence where each has scalable delivery capacity to service the full range of customer demands. All locations have multiple network providers as well as fully redundant systems to support internal and network resiliency, which allow to offer a 100% CDN uptime service level agreement and all the customers are assured of substantial headroom for burstable traffic.

Requests originating from anywhere within the US or Europe are automatically routed to the closest Cotendo CDN location. There, large scale deployment of Cotendo’s CDN server software on highly networked hardware, does the heavy lifting of accelerated web site delivery. In some cases a content provider will use Cotendo CDN Balancer service to direct traffic to their network to maximize cost-effectiveness and utilization of their own delivery resources. From our service, static web objects are delivered from Cotendo’s highly optimized object cache, which easily handles all size HTTP objects and processes provider control changes and policies in real time. Connections from users accessing dynamic content are aggregated and optimized to the performance to end users as well as reducing load on origin services.
Cotendo network architecture supports their delivery application suite with highly scalable performance, and like everything at Cotendo, it also includes a sharp focus on operational efficiency which means you are assumed of both great performance and great value.

We invite you to test Cotendo service against your content and business objectives. We can work with you to find the right mix of cost savings and performance improvements.
